Verifying
Proper Power Cable Installation: |
| Remove
the power connector from the back of the vault and refer to the diagram
below. |

Using
a voltmeter insert the positive (red) lead inside pin 1 and the negative
lead (black) inside pin 2. The voltmeter should read positive 12 volts. |
| Next
insert the positive lead (red) inside pin 4 and the negative (black) lead
inside pin 3. The voltmeter should read positive 12 volts. |
| If
both tests read positive 12 volts the power cable is properly installed. |
| If
either or both of the tests did NOT read positive 12 volts, check to make
sure the red wire is connected to the positive 12 volt side of the battery
and that the green and black wires are connected together to the chassis
ground. |
