FOR DECATUR, GENESIS I & II, AND TARGETRON RAPIDFIRE:

The VSI+ interfaces with these radar guns' RS232 port; therefore installation is relatively simple, provided the radar gun is programmed to Output Data, which is the factory default. If the radar gun's programming has been changed, the VSI must be set to match that of the new programming. Then construct the cable for connection using the following pin out diagrams:

Note: if the VSI+ is set to auto Baud, it should automatically select the proper Baud rate, but if the data does not appear, go into the VSI communications menu and manually set the Baud rate to 1200.
