The AVE Radar Gun Interface consists of two main components, the VSI-Plus text inserter and the RG-2RS radar gun interface. This radar gun interface will work with the following radar guns: Decatur Hunter, Genesis l & ll, Stalker, & Kustom

The 8 position dipswitch on the RG-2RS is used to select the radar gun and the baud rate if necessary.

Interfacing with Decatur Hunter and Genesis l & ll:

Connect TXD on the radar gun to Pin 3 (RXD) on the DB-25 of the RG-2RS and Ground to Pin 7. Use the 8 position dipswitch to select Hunter or Genesis and the proper baudrate.
